Import all data from your Freestyle Libre
Starting with version 2020.25 you can now import the 8 hours of data stored in your Freestyle Libre sensor when scanning it with DiabetoLog.
Before this version, all the data was read and shown to you in the graph appearing just after the scan but only the last blood glucose value was saved in your log.
What will happen when I scan my sensor ?
The app will read all the data stored in your sensor (the last 8 hours with a blood glucose reading every 15 minutes) and classify these values by time of day. It will then choose the value to show for each spot in the log by applying a (configurable) function to these data points.
By default, the app will calculate the median of your data points to choose your BG value for a given time of day (Wikipedia Median) .
If you prefer, you can choose another function in the settings between average, min, max, first and last.
However, for the current time of day, the value appearing in the log will be the last known BG value (just as today).
Wait, will it erase the values I entered manually ?
No. All the values entered manually are prioritized and will never be automatically erased.
This means that if you have entered a BG reading for your lunch, for example, a FSL scan will never overwrite this value.
How can I change the start time of the time of days to better reflect my schedule ?
They can modified in the settings in the “Events starting hour” section.
